In July, news went viral that the Nollywood actress was contesting for a seat in the Federal House of Representatives in her state Cross River.
In a quick chat with Sahara TV, she discusses her new career path. When asked if she is quitting acting for good, the mum of 1 says she is taking a break to serve the greater path of the society for just 8 years and will go back to acting.
She also made reference to Arnold Schwarzenegger, an actor turned Governor of California. Kate says she plans to go in there make noise and “leave when the ovation is loudest”
On plans to financially compete with people who have been in politics for years, she adds “I can’t match people who have been there for 20, 30 years, I am going with God and my heart”
