On Saturday, Ogun State police authorities discovered the decomposing body of a man said to be a bank manager at a commercial bank.
The man, who has been identified as 44-year-old Habeeb Olatunde, had reportedly been declared missing since June 18th, according to Tribune.
Olatunde’s body was said to have been discovered hanging in an uncompleted building in the Arepo area of Ogun.
Preliminary investigations have been conducted by the Ibafo Police Division of the state. Results indicate that Olatunde, who was a native of Kwara State,  committed suicide  while he was on leave from work. No signs of violence were discovered, ruling out the possibility of foul play.
His body has been released to the family, who will be conducting his burial according to Islamic rites.
Our condolences go out to Olatunde’s family and loved ones.
