In Lasgidi, the Fun Never Stops…Watch the Gidi Culture Festival Documentary
Following the mega success of the 1st annual Gidi Culture Festival, the organizers have announced plans for a return in 2015.
A documentary highlighting all the must see moments of the show was privately screened a month ago at the Miliki Lounge, Lagos.
The doc has since been released on
different platforms in 8 countries including the UK, US, France, Ghana,
Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa. It can be viewed via www.un1ty.tv
The first of its kind event in Nigeria
drawing inspiration from Glastonbury, Coachella and Made-in-America
festivals, hopes to break down barriers of social class through the
universal language of music.
Chin Okeke, the
Executive Producer of the festival, said at the private viewing party
that “All we have wanted to do from the beginning was to make a change
in music, an industry we all consume, one way or the other. The maiden
edition has set the pace for us and now we are excited to come back next
year, bigger and better whilst still being safe yet affordable”.
