Responsibilities
• Production of interesting, well-written content that is in line with prescribed editorial style and format standards, that will interest readers; and also for online publishing.
• Collect and analyze information about newsworthy events to write stories for publication or broadcast.
• Evaluate and research news lead and tips to gather factual information regarding story idea or scoop through interview, observation, and research.
• Be up-to-date on trends, developments and have links within our focus niche to facilitate content development.

• The journalist will be responsible for photographic content; from sourcing to editing and production

• Handle relevant administrative arrangements, such as timing, press passes, transport and access to restricted areas, venues and events
• Adding relevant keywords to image files relating to the photographic content so the image is recognized in search engines

Responsibilities:
• Must be able to work in synergy with the stylist, photographer, editor and relevant staff to create looks that are in line with the shoot theme.
• Alter or maintain makeup during productions as necessary to compensate for lighting changes or to achieve continuity of effect
• Apply makeup to enhance, and/or alter the appearance of the subject(s) of a shoot
• Assess performers’ skin-type in order to ensure that make-up will not cause break-outs or skin irritations
• Evaluate environmental characteristics such as lighting plans in order to determine makeup requirements.
• Requisition or acquire needed materials for special effects, including wigs, beards, and special cosmetics.
• Study production information, such as character descriptions, period settings, and situations in order to determine makeup requirements.
