Michael Babatunde Cheers Super Eagles from Hospital Bed
Last Thursday, head coach of the Super Eagles Stephen Keshi confirmed that Michael Babatunde, who sustained an injury on his hand after blocking a shot by Ogenyi Onazi which was goal bound, will no longer be able to participate in the world tournament.

About the match against France this
evening, the Nigerian midfielder shared with Kick Off Nigeria that “I
will be praying for the team and I am sure they will do the nation proud
in this World Cup.”
Today, he took to his official Instagram
page to post images of the Nigerian national team, cheering them for
today’s match, and also shared a photo of himself looking sombre with a
bandaged arm.
