It’s Down to the Final 4! All the Buzz from Episode 4 of The Fashion Protégé
We are getting down to the wire as we approach the finale episode and things are tough!! The Mentors were left with a very hard decision to pick the finalists.
Read on and find out what went down on Episode 4 and who made it to the final and make sure you watch the Fashion Protégé every Thursday at 8pm , Friday at 9.30pm, Sunday at 8.30pm and Monday at 1.00am on Africa Magic Entertainment, Channel 151.
On Episode 4, the contestants shoot a lookbook with renowned photographer, Kola Oshalusi of Insignia Media. They are to apply the skills learnt from the previous tasks in getting their models prepped to face the cameras.
The episode starts in Mai Atafo’s Studio with his team. He talks them through the industry and the business of fashion, emphasizing the important role of the business element in building and sustaining a brand.
The contestants then start prepping for the lookbook shoot. Mai is on hand to direct them and offer his advise.Then, we move over to team LDA! With only two contestants left in her team, the pressure is on! Lanre shares with her team the importance of connecting with clients and producing wearable pieces.
Then it’s off to the workroom to help get Bisola and Antoinette ready for the shoot.
Ready! Set! Go! The shoot begins!
It was a very tough decision for the judges! All contestants have been incredible but only four could bmake it to the finals.
Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Grace and Ayodeji. Mentors, Lanre Da Silva-Ajayi & Mai Atafo advised Ayodeji to improve on his attention to detail and with Grace they were hoping to see more finesse in her execution.
